Apart from being a great actor, he was loved for being a wonderful playback singer, television host, and producer. 

He was one of the most talented and highest-paid stars in the Kannada entertainment industry featured in films like Appu, Abhi, Veera Kannadiga, Mourya, and Aakash to name a few. Vanditha Rajkumar’s mother Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar is a prominent producer and costume designer in the Kannada industry. She made her production debut with the film, Kavaludaari which was produced under the PRK Productions banner.

She has even produced Mayabazar, Law, and French Biriyani. Apart from being a successful producer, Ashwini is an excellent mother and cook.

She met Puneeth through a common friend and soon the couple got married in the year 1999. 

Death News of Her Father

It was on 29 October 2021, when Puneeth Rajkumar died of cardiac arrest at the age of 46. It was reported that Puneeth was feeling unwell and experienced sudden chest pain while heading toward his gym. He was soon taken to the hospital. However, he died on the way. 

His death news came like a bolt from the blue for his wife and daughters. After her father’s death, Vanditha along with her family stood brave through thick and thin. As per her father’s wish, his eyes were donated.

His funeral was even attended by some well-known personalities, including the Chief Minister of Karnataka and other political leaders and film celebrities. You will be amazed to know that his funeral was attended by over 25 lakh people. As per the media reports, when Puneeth Rajkumar died, her younger daughter, Vanditha was in the USA. She travelled all the way back to India to pay tribute to her father.
