Tomas started his career in 2007 at a hedge fund in Cambridge, Massachusetts where he worked with and was mentored by a group of accomplished astrophysics PhDs from Harvard University who pioneered new scientific approaches to financial market investing. He was responsible for algorithmic research and automated trading in the U.S. stock market. Eventually, he became a fixed-income portfolio manager and continued advancing his career until he became a Chief Investment Officer responsible for multibillion-dollar investment portfolios.
