Nasal irrigation is one of the ancient Ayurvedic methods used to treat severe allergies and reduce inflammation in the sinuses and allergy headaches. Fill up the Neti Pot with saline solution, pour the saline solution through one nostril, and let it flow from the other nostril. Repeat the process twice a day to get good results. It flushes out all the accumulated mucus from your nasal passages and sinus gaps.

4. Hydration

We can’t stress this enough. Hydration is the key to getting relief from allergy headaches. Drinking enough water all day can remove allergens and viruses from your body and keep you away from a throbbing headache. Dehydration can be a cause of headaches and adds up to impaired concentration and irritability. Consider taking plenty of fluids, and water-rich fruits and vegetables.

4. Adequate sleep

Studies have shown the effect of sleep deprivation on worsening headaches. Getting an adequate quality sleep of around 7-8 hours per night can increase your overall health and reduce the frequency and severity of allergies.

5. Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy has been proven to give some relief from headaches. Studies have shown that oils like peppermint, lavender, and eucalyptus, help deal with both allergies and allergy headaches. Diffuse some oil in the dispenser and practice meditation in the meantime to get some peace and relief from headaches.

6. Ginger tea

Treating yourself with ginger tea has many benefits. One is that it’s good to treat allergies, and the other reduces the intensity of headaches and associated symptoms like nausea and vomiting.
