Freedom 251 is ready to deliver and its delivery said to be start Friday.

Freedom 251 was launched by Ringing Bells Private Limited in India at promotional price of Rs 251. It was announced that the one’s interested in phone have to register between 18th and 21st of February. The traffic was so high that the website crashed very first day.

Company decided to sell 5 million phones by June 2016 and they also promised that they will start delivering first lot of 2 lakh mobiles from June 30. Then they cut down the numbers to  10000 devices which will be given to customers in 19 states and now they have announced that only 5000 mobile will have delivery starting this Friday. Goel  said the first batch of 5,000 ‘Freedom 251’ devices will be out for delivery from July 8 and buyers will have to pay Rs. 291, including

When Phone was announced in February around 40,000 people paid in advance for the phone and around 7.5 crore people registered for the phone. The registration was almost equal to total sales of Apple and Samsung in the entire year. Company also claim that government is not helping them to meet their target of distributing 2 lakh phones. Company claims that company have all the ability to meet the target all alone but needs some time.

Company while announcing the distribution date also unveiled that they will soon launch four new phone with price set to Rs 99, Rs  999, Rs 3,999 and Rs 4,499. Looking forward for these new phones.
