RCB vs CSK: Harshal Patel’s Exceptional Bowling Gets RCB Home

RCB led by Faf du Plessis crushed Chennai Super Kings in the match played on the 4th of May 2022 at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune.

 

Royal Challengers Bangalore got a chance to bat first in the match and gave CSK a terrible defeat by 13 runs. CSK after losing this match received the 7th defeat in the IPL 2022 and was thrown out of the series by RCB in this match. 

 

 

After their 6th win of IPL 2022 against CSK, RCB made it to the top 4th position by securing 12 points so far. They are going to play three more matches after this against Sunrisers Hyderabad on 08 May, Punjab Kings on 13 May, and Gujarat Titans on 19 May.

 

 

The skilled duo of Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli gave RCB a great start scoring 62 runs in just 44 balls. After that Maxwell came to bat but couldn’t give a good performance to his team as he got run out by Uthappa/Dhoni. But Lomror and Rajat Patidar stood on the field and scored 42 and 21 runs for RCB. Karthik’s unbeatable performance gave a winning score of 26 runs in just 17 balls with 1 four and 2 sixes to his team RCB.

 

 

CSK had a great start while batting, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Devon Conway scored 28 and 56 runs but Shahbaz Ahmed soon got Ruturaj Gaikwad at 28 runs. After Ruturaj CSK kept losing wickets one after another but Moeen Ali tried to stay on the field but he lost his wicket soon to Harshal Patel after 34 runs in 17 balls with 2 fours and two sikes.

 

 

After getting the wicket of Moeen Ali, Harshal Patel got two more wickets from Ravindra Jadeja and Dwaine Pretorius. The skilled performance of  Harshal Patel gets his team home after he hit three wickets in the death overs of the match.
