Mahipal Lomror performed well, making 34 runs off 18 balls with three sixes and one four. Together they added 55 runs for the fourth wicket. However, the rest of the batting order kept on collapsing, and RCB lost the match by 21 runs.

Jason Roy and Narayan Jagadeesan provided a firm beginning to KKR’s innings, with Roy reaching his half-century in 29 balls, scoring 56 runs before being bowled out in the 10th over. Also in the same over, Vijaykumar Vyshak dismissed Jagadeesan for 27 runs off 29 balls.

Rana was near to finishing his half-century when he was taken out by Hasaranga after making 48 runs in 21 balls. Iyer scored 31 runs in 26 balls before being dismissed by Hasaranga in the 18th over. RCB is in fifth place on the IPL points table with four wins and four losses, while KKR has climbed to seventh with three wins and five losses. The win was vital for KKR as it kept them in the running for the playoffs.
