Mitchell Marsh and David Warner Demolish RR in a Must Win Game

Mitchell Marsh scored a huge mark for the Delhi Capitals, which he had not done in any of his prior games. Mitchell Marsh came in at 3 after Srikar Bharat was dismissed and put in a fantastic effort, scoring 89 runs off 62 balls with 5 fours and 7 monstrous sixes. The effort he put in against Rajasthan Royals in the 58th match of the season was all Delhi Capitals needed to draw closer to the top four teams on the list.

David Warner proved again he is the player, the team can rely on. He scored his fifth half-century of this season with an unbeatable score of 52 out of 41 balls with 5 fours and 1 six.

Fans were really disappointed with the beginning of the Delhi Capitals. But who cares when you have David Warner and Mitchell Marsh on your side, the duo scored a tremendous partnership of 144 runs to chase down a target of 161 runs set by Rajasthan Royals.

Delhi Capitals had a great start in its first inning as bowlers start knocking off players of Rajasthan Royals from the very initial phase of the game, and that’s what they need to make their place in Playoffs.

Mitchell Marsh was knocked out at the very first ball of the 17th over delivered by Chahal. But David Warner made sure he stays till the very end of the game with Captain Rishabh Pant. Rishabh Pant and David Warner finished the game brilliantly by chasing down the score and securing a stunning victory for their team.

This win was the prime focus of the Delhi Capitals as it increased the chance to qualify for Playoffs.

The fans are expecting the same performance from the players of the Delhi Capitals in future matches, and have a desire to see DC in Playoffs.
