Good Trouble is a Freeform original show that is a spin-off of The Fosters. Which is another Freeform original series that concluded last year? The series starts off a few years after the events of The Fosters. It follows Mariana and Callie, the Adams-Foster sisters. They are starting new chapters in their lives, as they move to Los Angeles.

The two have to deal with making new friends in a new city and excel in their new careers. Callie finds a challenging career path as a law clerk for Judge Wilson. And Mariana pursues a career as a software engineer. With so many changes in their young lives, the duo finds interesting ways to stay grounded. They also need to find ways to stay true to themselves and each other.

2. Grown-ish

Grown-ish is another spin-off, except it is taken from ABC’s popular series Black-ish. The sitcom is shot in the same single-camera format as the original series. In a world where demons and angels are real, there are also shadowhunters. A hybrid breed of humans with angelic blood. These shadowhunters are tasked with the duty to protect humans from supernatural beings, including demons.

The series follows Clary Fray, who finds out on her 18 birthday of her destiny as a shadowhunter. As her estranged father, also a shadowhunter, abducts Clary’s mother, she finds the courage to fight back. With the help of new friends, Clary discovers her abilities with one goal. To find the only family she has ever known.

5. Siren

The town of Bristol Cove, Washington was always said to be home to mermaids. But it was a town legend, and as legends go, hardly anyone believed it anymore. Until one day when a mysterious woman comes to town and causes chaos.

Searching for her sister who was abducted from the deep by some town fishermen. The series shatters any concept of mermaids that you may have. A must-watch series for 2019.
