4 Tips on How to Eliminate Stomach Pain That You Should Know

Stomach pain can be caused by many triggers. You may have gastritis, infection, or food poisoning. However, there are a lot of other reasons that are not related to the stomach. Antacids are usually used when the person experiences gastroesophageal reflux disease, heartburn, or indigestion. Some types of antacids contain simethicone, a component that helps your body get rid of gas. However, you should strictly follow the directions on the label because the overdosing can lead to stomach cramps and diarrhea.

4. Diet or starvation 

Diet can also help eliminate painful sensations in the stomach. If you feel heaviness after the meal, try to eat only boiled lean meat and vegetables for a day or two. It is also very beneficial to drink a lot of plain water or herbal tea.
