How to Remove Your Makeup

Everybody wants their skin to glow and be clean in the morning when they wake up. To achieve this, always remove your makeup the night before. If you didn’t take it off the previous night, you’ll have dry skin, might wrinkle your face, and have pimples. Not only facial makeup but eye makeup should also be removed to prevent your eyes from being infected. The eyes can be contaminated, remove the eyelashes or glue them together.

Let Makeup removal be your nightly ritual daily.

Cleaning makeup from the face isn’t only about wiping and rubbing the substance from the face. Some makeup requires special cleansing methods with special materials to peel them off.

Special Tips for Removing Makeups

Do it slowly:

Eye makeup removal requires slow cleaning. If you slowly wipe it out, your skin becomes neat gradually and thoroughly. Use makeup removal, leave it on the skin for some time. It will soften any hard-to-clean makeup. They will easily slide off too. The eyes won’t be smeared underneath when you wake up. Leaving the makeup removal on for some time increases its effectiveness. It deters you from vigorously cleaning your face with a face towel. Too much rubbing causes too much friction and is damaging to the surface surrounding your eyes. It will irritate your eyes and crinkle the skin.

Use facial soaps with water:

Facial soaps with water are preferable to applying makeup wipes to the face.

A wipe is the first material used to wipe out makeup. Then follow it with a proper cleaning method. The mistakes many make are to wipe, hydrate, and then sleep. The wipes don’t remove all the beauty products, you must wash them off. If not, dirty particles will seep inside the skin pores. Dirty skin will have black spots or acne.

Moisture and facial soap remove leftover makeup then prepare it for your nightly routine.

Makeup cleanser:

Apply face cleaners specifically produced to remove makeup. Don’t try soaps not intended for wiping out makeup. To know if your cleanser is suitable to remove your makeup, put it on your skin. Wipe it off with a towel. If you notice the towel is stained, that means the cleanser isn’t acceptable to use. Cleanse your skin with an oil or balm cleanser. No matter how hard it is to remove your makeup, oils will remove it. Understandably, people doubt the workings of oil face cleansers. Beauty products have evolved, so the current oil face cleansers have been improved. Oil has the power to dissolve other oil. Use a face towel to remove the oil. There are other natural ingredients used for cleaning the face.

Never ignore the corners of your eyes:

Corners of the lids covering the eyes are oftentimes ignored. Eyeliners and other eye makeup pile up at the rims of the eyelids after frequent use. It can irritate your eyes if care is not taken. Carefully and spotlessly clean these sensitive areas. It is advisable to dab using cotton wool soaked with makeup remover oil. Ensure the oil can be used around the eyes. Avoid scrubbing the eyes and their surroundings. Avoid using your hands to clean stubborn residues from the eyelashes. Apply the makeup remover, leave it for some time, then clean delicately with cotton wool. Softly press the cotton wool in slow motion towards your eyelashes. Then gently remove the makeup.

Clean your hairline:

When you put on makeup, you also apply it to the hairline. Therefore, when you remove your makeup, remove the makeup from the hairline too.

Your hairline amasses makeup junk when you apply facial makeup. Putting it there without cleaning can contest your skin and cause spots, acne, or dark spots. Use a rubber band to bind your hair to prevent it from falling out. It also makes your face and hairline easily accessible for removal. Then wash the hairline when you clean your face.

Do not use round cotton wool:

Round cotton wool may stick to your eyes when wet. It can snap into two during use and irritate the skin. Use cotton wool made of quilt or special cotton wool made for removing beauty products. Square cotton wools are fluffy and comfortable to use. They don’t disturb the eyes and wrinkle the surrounding skin.

They can be found at any good makeup shop in your locality or visit a pharmaceutical store. Go to a simple medicine store if you have that and specifically request this. Special cotton wools are more costly than normal flat cotton wool. If you notice the cotton wool is shedding cotton, dispose of it and buy a new one. It’s better to spend an extra 50 rupees buying a new one than to spend hundreds on repairing damaged skin.

Add moisture after applying makeup removers:

Dry skins need hydration and liquid is the best moisturizer. Oily skins need moisturizers after you remove your makeup. Apart from water, there are other forms of liquid suitable for all skin types.

For example, put lip gloss or balms on the lips after removing lipstick. Use eye balms after removing eye makeup. Cleaning off makeup can make your face and the surrounding skin dry. It is necessary to constantly hydrate, soften, and clean them.

In conclusion, never nap with makeup on. Taking it off before you sleep at the end of the day gives clear and smooth skin the next morning.
