The primary reason for William and Kate for visiting the United States is to attend the Earthshot Prize Awards Ceremony which will be held on Friday, 2nd December at the MGM Music Hall in Boston. It was Prince William who founded The Earthshot Prize to identify and come up with solutions to help repair damage to planet Earth and fight climate change.

The star-studded Earthshot Prize ceremony will showcase the perfect blend of innovation with entertainment. Famous Hollywood celebrities like Ellie Goulding and Annie Lennox are on the list of performers. There are a total of five awards each worth £1m. There are different categories, namely, Protect and restore nature, Clean our air, Revive our oceans, Build a waste-free world, and Fix our climate. 

As per the reports, the ceremony will be hosted by Clara Amfo along with actor Daniel Day Kim. Celebs like Rami Malek, Catherine O’Hara, and Shailene Woodley will be giving awards. You can watch and enjoy the award ceremony in the UK on Sunday on BBC at 5:30 p.m. GMT. 

  • A Visit To The Harvard University

If reports are to be believed during their three-day stay in the United States, Princess Kate will visit solo to the Center on the Developing Child at Harvard University on Friday. Her main motive to visit the Center on the Developing Child is to get knowledge about the best practices that she can use for her Royal Foundation and The Centre for Early Childhood as she is interested to create her pioneering work in the area.

On the other side, Prince William will make a solo visit to John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum. John F. Kennedy is the main motivation behind the Earthshot Prize. 

  • A Meeting With The U.S. President Joe Biden

As per the reports, Joe Biden, The U.S. president will meet and greet Prince William & Kate in Boston for a fundraiser on Friday. 

As per Karine Jean-Pierre who is a White House Press Secretary,” The President intends to greet the Prince and Princess of Wales when he is in Boston – we are still finalizing and working through the details,”
